Pay It Forward {Day 27/Year 2}

Sometimes helping others doesn't have to involve money or even leaving your house.

Sometimes it's as simple as logging on to a website and playing a few vocabulary games. Good for bloggers and interpreters, for kids and parents alike.

Tonight I donated 2,000 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Programme by testing out my knowledge of some English vocabulary words.

English not your thing?

They have six broad genres with fifteen sub-categories that you can test your knowledge in. For every right answer you give, the sponsors of FreeRice.com will donate 10 grains of rice. It's a great way to kill some time while waiting at the doctor's office, for your flight to take off or just chilling at home with a nice glass of wine...or Diet Coke as the case may be.

Take a minute or two or thirty this holiday season and donate some rice to some individuals in need.
