Tay-Doh

Ladies and Gentleman, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our new "pet", Liam's actually. Since the poor kid can't have a pet because I am deathly allergic and he was on his hands and knees begging for a plant in Lowe's. I decided that "Yes" he could have one and he immediately went for the cactus rack. So we had to do some pre-screening for especially sharp ones and landed on this little guy.

The next day I asked Liam if it had a name and he proudly declared, "LIAM!". To which I responded if we didn't call it "LIAM!" what else could we call it? He said, "Name." And, then decided that in fact he liked "Tay-doh" better which is how he says "potato".

So, here he is...one week old and doing well. We are looking to plant him in a big boy pot this afternoon.

  1. I like it! Not exactly the warm fuzzy most pets provide but handsome in its own right. Grin. I thought Tay-Doh meant play dough, silly me.

  2. Maybe he could keep it on his little table! (better known as the place for Nan's coffee...)

  3. The perks of not being warm and fuzzy is that it doesn't pee or poop anywhere. :)

And it's pretty ironic that he named it tay-doh since he's only ever eaten two bites of one in a single setting, including fries. Mostly he uses tay-doh's to scoop the ketchup into his mouth.

I think the table could be a great place. It could keep your coffee spot warm while you are gone.
