After catching some serious waves with his friend Noah at the Port Discovery museum yesterday Liam asked for some "fish" on the way home. He's been really good at being tidy in the back seat, so I was all "Sure, you can have some fish.". So, I got them out of the diaper bag and took the lid off all while telling him that we have to be careful and not spill them. I'm positive that this all sounds like the adults in a snoopy cartoon to him "wah wah wah wah wahh". But, I get an "A" for effort, no?
As I am reiterating the importance to be careful I reach toward the back seat with a bowl full of fish, nick it on the passenger seat head rest and fling 100 or so fish at my child and across the back seat. I am even pretty sure a few bounced off the windows. (le sigh)
Dear Liam, this will probably not be the last time you witness a "Do as I say, not as I do." phenomenon occur.
