We go to the Kid's Section at Target and push buttons and check out each and every toy on the shelves.
It changes both our moods almost immediately as we both go to visit our old favorites. As the stores start ramping up for the holidays there also seems to be something new to discover each and every week.
Maybe you're wondering at this point what my "go-to" toy is. I love the HEXBUGS. I watch them jiggle and dance and crawl all over the in-store habitats until Liam begs to go to another section. Not that he doesn't like them, it's just that I could stay there all day.
Something about them is so tranquil and yet so fun to me.
In fact as another blogger and I were talking at BlogHer and she mentioned that she had no need for a HEXBUG I whipped out my puppy dog eyes and asked if I could have hers. She graciously left it for me at the desk. Thanks, Tara.
Here at home outside the confines of the store habitat Liam and I have been competing for time with the HEXBUGS. We even built our own habitat out of an old shipping box, but maybe if I'm a good girl my guys will get us a real habitat for Christmas.
These are a perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays and make for easy transporting as they barely take up any space if you are looking for good toys on the go.
