This week the prompt was to capture a sign of summer and a parked school bus is one of the best signs of summer for me. It means that my lengthy urban commutes are just about to get a whole lot shorter. With the end of the school year there are a lot less parents, teachers, administrators and kids going to and from and depending on where I am going it can take up to an hour off my commute each way.
So three cheers to a parked bus, lazy afternoons with the little guy and freshly brewed ice tea.
