Have Stroller Will Travel has some fun stuff planned for the next month or so. Stop by all day on October 31 for a day of Trick-or-Treating (giveaways). All giveaways that day will run through November 4, so if you're busy with the kiddos or family that day you'll still be able to get in on the action.

November is also the big month for National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo). For those of you who were here this past May you might remember that I joined with some other bloggers for the first 26 days of the month in an ABC Photo Challenge in addition to my own daily posting as well. And, in May I did a month honoring women. This November I will be focusing on the theme of "Paying it Forward". Paying it Forward (PIF) is the concept of doing something nice for someone else with no expectations in return. The hope is that it will inspire them to do something nice for someone and so on and so on. Each day I will find some way to do something for someone else, and then at the end of each day I'll share it with you. I encourage you to join in the fun and post here what you have done. Keep track of the random acts of kindness that you do for others in November as it will lead to a sweet reward for 30 lucky readers on the last day of the month. A little thank you for spreading happiness, especially during the harried holidays.

Each post during the month of November will be titled PIF: Day One, PIF: Day Two, etc. So, if you just want to see the posts associated with that you can use the search bar to the right and it will lead you right to this project. It's been something I've been wanting to incorporate into my blog for a long time and I think this is the perfect opportunity. At this point I haven't figured out how I'll maintain it, but I do hope to have a way to acknowledge the concept of Pay It Forward long after November has ended.

Also, make sure to tune in on Thanksgiving day as we will have "A Day of Thankfulness" here on the blog. Writers from other blogs and a few who were aren't bloggers but were inspired to write for the day will be posting about the things they are thankful for this year.
