Capture the Everyday: Place Where Things Pile up

Psst...it's Thursday and you know what that means, right?

I'm Capturing the Everyday with Melissa over at Adventuroo. This week the theme is: A Place Where Things Pile Up. Which in our house might more aptly be called, the drawer where you cram everything. You have one of those drawers, don't you? Please tell me I'm not alone...you can even lie a little if you have to.

Anywho on to my "place where things pile up". When you become a parent there are certain adages you will hear without question. Things like "Sleep when the baby sleeps." or "Never wake a sleeping baby." Another that you are bound to hear after your child starts to grow up is "Put away the toys they no longer play with." -- but my kid still plays with EVERYTHING. He loves the rattles of his babydom and I'm sure given the opportunity would still attempt to gum a teething ring -- so it makes it challenging to move things away.

That said, his new found obsession with cars/trucks/helicopters is enough to take over our entire household and simultaneously kill us. If you have never stepped on Matchbox car in the middle of the night, count yourself as lucky. These objects with wheels and propellers seem to trickle out of every bin, drawer and storage space in our house. In our house these are the things that pile up, over and out of his toy areas.

Do tell, what and where do things pile up in your house?
