And, I love that little guy that insisted he be present in the photo!
What is something you love about your home?
Capture the Everyday is about getting you to capture those everyday moments in your life! Each Thursday, I’ll issue a simple challenge to capture something that’s a part of your daily life. You can post just a picture or add some words to go along with it. You’ll have a week to get it done and then I’ll issue another. It’s a quick, easy way to start capturing those little parts of life we sometimes take for granted.
OMG... that painting is incredible. What a beautiful, relaxing & zen piece of art to have over you while you sleep. You seriously need to come to GR to see Open Water No 24. http://tinyurl.com/yl4vom9
ReplyDelete@Kelli: Oh, I so should. I was planning to take a picture of the one in our living room which is triple the size of this one and is shoreline rocks instead of icebergs. Hmmm...maybe I'll find a way. Grin.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful painting! I imagine it has super magical calming effects... especially seeing that your little one seems so relaxed on the bed. ha!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute picture with your son laying there! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative photo! And I love the picture. I want to frame a few cool photographs I've found for our house. This is good motivation.
ReplyDeleteThis photo totally cracks me up! Your little one is adorable. And that painting is so calming. Love the modern, minimalist approach. Just the think to make a bedroom relaxing.
ReplyDeleteOh i do love that picture! I feel calmer already :-) I think we have the same bed!
ReplyDelete@ Andrea: IKEA?
ReplyDeleteThanks guys, we love it.
He cracks me up, 99% of the pictures he was a blurry jumping bean and then poof he laid down in this one.
Serenity now! I actually have a serious fascination with ice, snow, and anything polar. Love the painting (looks like a picture!)
ReplyDeleteOur headboard is currently one of the bedroom walls. We've been married for almost nine years and still haven't picked out a grown-up bed.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of making the art the focus rather than a huge panel of wood or metal.
*takes notes*
Even your lil' guy seems to be soothed by the calm ;)
ReplyDeleteThat painting is stunning. Love that the art is the focus instead of some stuffy headboard. Is that an Ikea Malm bed? Think that's the same one we have (lol).
ReplyDeleteGotta love your little one's pose too! He's cute!
@ Fadra: It's totally a picture and not a painting. I have no idea where/why we started calling it a painting. I actually remember trying to make sure I didn't call it that in the post, and I did anyway. *laughs*
ReplyDelete@ Alexia: Yep, IKEA Malm bed. The fact that it's a King size and our little guy is taking so much of it--makes me a little sad. Stop. Growing.
