PIF: Day Fifteen

Pay It Forward: Day Fifteen

This day was really not about what I did, but about what others did for me. I am so lucky to have such great people in my life and such awesome readers of this blog. I received numerous lovely compliments from readers of this here blog today. I had a stranger get it touch with me to compliment me not only on my blog, but on the one I put together for my sister-in-law (Fueled by Love). My team interpreter tonight brought me a cookie out of the blue. Great friends joined us at the last minute for a "mall playground playdate" this morning. My mom went digging in the basement for the umpteenth time to look for something that I'd like to have a picture of for a guest blog post that is due in a few days and will go "live" in December. And, I'm probably missing a thing or two. Thank you to everyone who made my soul sing today. Some days it's just nice to wake up on the right side of the bed.

On the way home, I remembered that I had only eaten about 1/4 of my dinner so I stopped at a local "petting zoo"--I dare say it should be called a "feeding zoo" since you can't touch the animals. We just sort of lob food over to them and watch them eat it, heh. Anywho, I thought I'd treat the animals to a bit of a late night snack. Pay it Forward: Animal Edition, no?

Also, took the recycling out tonight for the hubs. :)

Remember to jot down your Random Acts of Kindness, sweet rewards await all day on November 30!!

  1. You dear, dear lady! I'm glad someone did something nice for you today! I wish I lived closer so I could take you out for a girls' lunch. We'll have to take a raincheck til I visit my in-laws this summer. Thanks again for my care package--it totally made my day! (Alissa sent me some of my favorite candies, Hershey's Bliss, to help me recover from surgery! Better than traditional medicine for sure!)

  2. Alissa- you are amazing and deserve recognition!! Thanks for inspiring us all in the simple but high impact things that we can do for each other. I have been on the receiving end lately, so I can't wait to pay it forward too!
