After work tonight I made a quick trip into the craft store to pick up a few last odds and ends for the little dude's birthday bonanza this weekend when I happened upon some cool things for he and the cousins to play with this weekend as well. That would be for Liam (1) and his cousins (3) -- not hard math right?? So I stood there trying to figure out how many I needed and what kinds for each kid.
Then, on the way home I had convinced myself yet again that 4 wasn't enough. (sigh) Perhaps I'm not geared toward higher level learning if I can't get 3+1 down.
I seem to have lost my mind somewhere about 18 months ago, and it isn't looking good that I'm going to find it anytime soon.
Glad I'm not the only one!! Remember we sacrificed our brain cells to experience motherhood!! Supposedly our brains are growing and that's why...momnesia they say. I think it is just to make us feel better.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree. I think people who knew me before still say I have my stuff remotely together because they don't want to hurt my feelings. And, people who only know me post-baby...well...they don't know any better. (LOL)
