Katamari

Some time in the not too distant past Tim decided that it was time to introduce Liam to video games, Katamari in particular. And, since them Liam has had a growing addiction. I came home last weekend after a day out working and was not greeted with "Hi Mamma!" or some such other lovely greeting. NO, I was greeted with "I Katamari?". Oy.

Which leads us into this morning when Liam insisted that we play Katamari. But, ahem...I know zilch about the PlayStation. I know not how to set it up, turn it on, make it do cartwheels on the back nine...N-O-T-H-I-N-G. I gently explained this to Liam and told him that maybe daddy could play a round of it with him when he got home. But, this kid doesn't give up! He asked me to move the ottoman so that he could put his back on it while still holding the controller (they only reach so far), and then he told me where to sit and which controller was mine. Again, I said that I hadn't a clue.

And, this ladies and gentleman is where told me to "Call Daddy, Getta help."

(I did. We played. Score one for the Liam-meister.)

  1. That is so funny. Em loved this game too, but it has been forever since Nate played. When he plays the wii Mario the kids take the extra remotes and think they are playing with him!
