I did.

Please don't swear off this blog because this song is my "nails-on-chalkboard" song.

It all starts when you are at your local July 4 celebration, a beach barbeque or at a bar with some delusion DJ who thinks he can put a dance beat under it and "make it his own". Damn you American Idol and your "make it your own-ness!"

There's always alcohol involved, over zealous singing of the chorus and then someone or more accurately some someones who think that all the sudden my 3 feet of personal space is their 3 ft of personal space. And, before I realize what's going on arms are slung over my shoulders, we're swaying side to side, they're screaming off-key lyrics and spilling their libations all over my what-was-once-cute-AND-CLEAN-top.

Let's just retire this one, mmkay?
